Country Footy Regions

South
West

The South West is one of the most unique football regions in Western Australia. Large enough to rival metropolitan competitions, yet still deeply grounded in country football values.

Stretching from Harvey through Bunbury, Busselton and down to Margaret River, the South West is home to some of the state’s strongest participation numbers, a proud volunteer culture, and a football community that continues to evolve with the times.

SOUTH WEST REGION

The South West is one of the largest and most active regions in country football, with participation numbers comparable to metropolitan competitions. That scale allows the region to offer structured junior pathways, strong senior leagues and innovative programs that keep the game accessible to everyone.

With three dedicated CFWA staff based locally, the focus is on delivering quality experiences, from grassroots participation to competition support, while reducing the load on volunteers who power the game.

  • One of the largest participation bases in country WA
  • Junior competitions across multiple associations
  • Senior leagues spanning Harvey to Margaret River
  • Women’s and girl’s football at every level
  • School programs, Auskick and Superkick pathways
  • Social and alternative football formats
