The annual showdown is back as the New Holland Country State Women’s team prepares to face the Perth Football League at Gosnells Oval on Friday 20 June.

After last year’s thrilling draw reignited this long-standing fixture, the Country squad—coached by Rennie Meadmore and assistant Sheridan Kowald—is ready to go one better in 2025. With a team made up of the best talent from across regional WA, all eyes will be on this year's match.

Proudly supported by New Holland, the Country Football WA State Program gives top male and female players from regional WA the chance to represent their State. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to community, opportunity, and growing the game in the bush.

Team will be announced Monday 16th June 2025.
