Country Football WA is proud to celebrate the incredible achievement of ten players from regional Western Australia who were selected in the 2025 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.

These selections highlight the strength of our grassroots football pathways and the vital role that country footy plays in developing elite talent. From the Wheatbelt to the Great Southern and across the state’s coastal and inland towns, these young men have taken the next step in their football journeys.

2025 Regional WA Draftees:

  • Clancy Dennis – Countrys (Bunbury & Districts JFA)
  • Lucas Ravenhill – North Albany (Great Southern FL)
  • Jed Hagan – Brigades (Great Northern FL)
  • Mitch Zadow – Pinjarra (Peel FL)
  • Noah Cachard – Dongara/Railways (North Midlands FL / GNFL)
  • Tom Bell – Collie/Bunbury (SWJFL / South West FL)
  • Jackson Broadbent – Collie/Eaton (SWJFL / South West FL)
  • Judd Kelman – Railways FC (Goldfields FL)
  • Travis Shearer – Newtown/Condingup (Esperance DFA)
  • Riley Sprigg – Mukinbudin (Central Wheatbelt FL)

From backyard kick-to-kicks in country towns to standout performances on local ovals, these players have developed their game through tireless commitment, strong club support, and a passion for footy that runs deep throughout regional WA.
