New Regional Football Specialists Join Country Football WA Mon, March 17, 2025 - 12:40 PM

Country Football WA is excited to welcome two new Regional Football Specialists (RFS) to our team, strengthening support for community football in regional Western Australia.

Coree Thomson – RFS Midwest

Coree Thomson has recently relocated from Newman to Geraldton, joining the team in January. Although new to the football industry, Coree’s passion for the game is clear, and he has already hit the ground running. He is actively involved in delivering football programs across the Midwest region, supporting local clubs, volunteers, and players to grow the game.

Courtney Godden – RFS Pilbara

Bringing extensive experience in community sport development, player and coach education, and regional engagement, Courtney Godden is set to take on the role of RFS Pilbara. With a strong background in football administration, youth engagement, and health and fitness, she has worked extensively in remote and Indigenous communities, delivering programs that promote participation and inclusivity. Courtney officially joins the team on Monday, March 24 and is eager to support the continued growth of football in the Pilbara region.

Both Coree and Courtney will play vital roles in supporting grassroots football, strengthening club development, and fostering a thriving football culture in their respective regions.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make!
