In a major boost for country football, CBH Group has renewed its partnership with the WA Country Football League for a further three years.
The agreement includes naming rights for the CBH Colts Country Championships, plus partnering with every wheatbelt league.
Tom Bottrell, Executive Manager Country Football, Affiliates & Facilities at the West Australian Football Commission, has praised the support of CBH to the game in regional WA.
“CBH Group has been a wonderful partner of the WA Country Football League for the last 20 years and we’re delighted that this partnership will continue for at least three more seasons.
CBH Group is a huge contributor to the wheatbelt of Western Australia and this partnership enables us to continue providing funding and support to the football networks in the region,” Bottrell said.
CBH Chief External Relations Officer David Paton said the co-operative is proud to be extending the long-term partnership once again.
“The WACFL was one of CBH’s first community partners, with the first agreement signed in 2002 the partnership continues to be an important one for growers and our regional communities.
Regional sport contributes to creating healthy and vibrant grain growing communities by bringing people together and fostering a sense of pride and belonging,” Paton said.
The long standing agreement continues to benefit many areas of regional WA.
