South West made it four on the trot when they claimed the recent CBH Group Colts Carnival title with a grand final victory over the Great Southern Storm.The green and gold of the South West progressed through to the grand final after winning three of their four qualifying matches. Their only loss came at the hands of the Storm who took a perfect record into the final.
The South West had all the answers in the grand final against the Storm who were playing in their first decider since 2016ultimately ran out 36 point winners.
Jarrad Faziolo starred in a best on ground performance which saw him claim the Kim ‘Freddy’ Curnow Medal. Jordan Hayden and Jack Dye were also impressive whilst Jake Symington and Heath Ryder both kicked two majors.
For the Great Southern Storm Kalin Lane, Sam Want, Dylan Gowdie and Brent Parsons were the better players.
The Clem Bray Medal for the carnivals rising star was won by the South West Jack Hindle whilst Poch Amores from the Great Southern was named as the Ken Baxter Medallist as the carnivals best and fairest player.
