2018 is shaping up as another exciting season of Country Football. Here is a snippet of some of the exciting things happening:-
-MARCH- Country Football League Roadshows. League and Club personal are invited to attend WACFL Roadshows and hear all the important info in the lead up to the 2018 season. Speak to your League for further detail.
-MARCH 25- The first AFL match on the new stadium- WCE take on the Sydney Swans- tickets should be hard to come by.
-APRIL- Season Kick Off- With Easter falling on 1 April this year, most leagues will have an uninterrupted lead in to the start of their seasons.
-APRIL 28- Albany WAFL Match - CFC v SFFC- Centennial Oval hosts its first WAFL match since its recent upgrade.
-MAY 19-20- 20 Year Belt up. Celebration Round. All leagues promote the Belt up. message across this annual round. This year has special significance with the Belt up. campaign with country football heading into its 20th year.
-JUNE 30- Geraldton WAFL Match- East Fremantle hosts Claremont in Geraldton.
-JUNE 16-17- Stand Alone Colts Carnivals- Wongan Hills and Kulin
-JULY 5-8 - Landmark Championships- The Championships returns to a 'Perth Only' format with the Colts playing from 5-7 July and the Seniors playing from 6-8.
-JULY 28- WA v SA State Match- Can WA go back to back and defeat the SACFL on the magnificent backdrop of the Adelaide Oval?
- AUGUST- WACFL Finals- Finals action starts to heat up.
-SEPTEMBER 23- WAFL GRAND FINAL- The first WAFL Grand Final on the new Perth Stadium. West Coast Poly Country Player of the Year is announced and gets himself a trip to the AFL Grand Final.
