Fixtures for the 2016 Landmark Country Football Championships have been released with a number of exciting changes set to spice up the 2016 program.

The Championships format has chanced for 2016 with key benefits of the changes being:-

Regional Matches

Senior leagues will play their first match in Country WA with a total of six matches to be played over the June 17-19 weekend.  This is a great opportunity for Country Communities to be involved with representative football.

Weekend Format

All Senior matches will be played over the weekend meaning players wont have to miss work, allowing the best players are able to make it to Perth

Regional Allstars

WACFL will be compiling a team of players from non-attending Landmark Leagues.  This will give all country players the opportunity to particpate in Country Week and possibly get choosen in the State Country side.  To register your interest in representing this side contact bsheridan@wafc.com.au

Players Function

WACFL will hold a Players function for all Senior Players that attend the Championships in Perth. This will be on Saturday evening at East Fremantle Oval and will include best player awards, guest speakers and great networking opportunies for all country attendees. 

Colts Grand Final

The Colts will play their grand final as a curtain raiser to the B Grade Grand Final on Sunday at Medibank Stadium. The Regional 15's will also be included into the 2016 Championships.
